Participants at the EI European Round Table on Equality held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 14-15 Nov, unanimously agreed that there are still many challenges ahead for education workers and their organisations in the area of equality.

Opened by EI's Chief Regional Co-ordinator for Europe, Charlie Lennon, the round table is attended by nearly 60 representatives working on equality from EI affiliates in the European region. Various important issues in the area of equality were discussed, such as the education of migrant children, the situation of women in Central and Eastern Europe, changes in the world of work and its consequences on equality. The round table also included a report by the EI Europe Standing Committee on Equal Opportunities. For more information, please refer to the following documents.
