Together with 30 other partners, including the International Council on Education for Teaching, UNESCO and higher education institutions, EI is working to build a global network that brings together education and public policy leaders to develop communication across national boundaries on initiatives to improve teaching quality and excellence.
The Global Network for Teaching Quality and Effectiveness will be a network of networks. It is a response to the need for a global discussion platform that focuses on the entire teaching career experience, including recruitment, preparation and development, professional learning, evaluation and compensation, and on the contexts in which teachers work with a view to improving the quality of education systems.
To prepare for the launch of the Network, we hope you can help us include as many relevant international, regional and national networks as possible for the first network conference by completing the survey below. The aim is to capture all existing networks dealing with relevant issues around the world.
Networks which are identified in the survey will be invited to participate in the inaugural conference.
Click here to download the survey, and return it to us by 31 May 2012.
Further information about the Global Network, such as the concept paper on which its development is based, and information on EI's work on Quality Teaching can be found on our website.
