The project has national as well as regional elements. The national elements are described in separate counrty sheets (Rwanda, Burundi and Zanzibar). The regional elements consist in 1-2 regional annual conferences for all the teacher unions, and they deal with themes such as education policy, strategy development, teachers’ working conditions,...

The project cooperation began in 2003. The current phase of the project began in January 2022 and will run until 2025. The annual project budget of 16,000 € (120,000 DKK) is primarily financed by Danida through the LO/FTF Council.

Extension to 12 schools in 4 regions (Shkodra, Elbasan, Kamza and Lezha) of the 2019-2020 project against child labour.

Building of network to advocate for tax justice as an alternative source to achieve better education financing.

This is a foundational union training programme, focusing on the southern provinces on Angola - Cuando, Cubango, Cunene, Huila and Namibe.

Funded by the Government of Canada and this collaboration between the GTU and the CTF/FCE, linked 48 young women teachers in rural and remote areas of The Gambia with 12 more experienced colleagues in a mentee-mentor relationship (4 mentees for each mentor) to form a personal and professional support network....

AIPTF is implementing activities against child labour in selected areas in 3 States/regions (Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi Capital Region), through local State affiliates, in partnership with the following alliance partners: Save the Children India; MVFoundation; ICCO India; ARISA; Manjari ARAVALI; Fakirana Sisters; Nav Jagritti.
